Tenebrae Service - April 10, 2009

     

 

 

The word Tenebrae is Latin for "shadows." 

 

This service enables you to fully experience the joy that comes from the resurrection we celebrate Easter Sunday.  It is a service of Darkness, when through scriptures, music and narration, we walk with Christ to his death on the cross.  It is a truly beautiful service with some of the most haunting and meaningful music you will ever hear.

 

We walk with Jesus through the festive entry into Jerusalem with cheering crowds.  Before the week is out, those cheers turn to jeers and the crowds scream for death!

 

 

The narrator tells the story through the scriptures of this earth-changing week and the musicians interpret the moods and thoughts of those who walked with Christ during that last fateful week.

Make your plans to attend the Tenebrae service on Good Friday, April 10th at 7p.m.

Reach out to your friends and invite them to attend with you!

  You will never feel the same about Good Friday after this experience.
